COLOMBIAN INSTITUTE OF TAX LAW – ICDT
Colombian Institute of Tax Law is an academic organization whose objective is the study, research, publicity and improvement of tax legislation. It currently has approximately nine hundred (900) members, including lawyers, economists, administrators, and accountants, among other professionals. It is a member of the Latin American Institute of Tax Law ILADT and of the International Fiscal Association (IFA), Colombian Chapter.
INTERNATIONAL FISCAL ASSOCIATION -IFA- COLOMBIA CHAPTER
International Tax Association (IFA) was established in the winter of 1938 in Haya, Netherlands, at the end of the interbellum. Along with the increasing internationalization of the world’s economies, international tax issues have become more numerous and of greater importance.
COMMERCIAL LAWYERS ASSOCIATION
Private law corporation, non-profit making, subject to Civil Code regulations and other current provisions. The purpose of the College is the study of commercial legal matters, the promotion and encouragement of research on this matter, organization of meetings for conferences, symposia, round tables, seminars and other cultural, academic and social activities and events aimed at development of studies in area of commercial law.
COLLEGE OF SPECIALIZED LABOR AND SOCIAL SECURITY LAW
It is a non-profit academic society, established in 1948, by members of the International Society for Labor and Social Security Law (SIDTSS) and the Inter-American Center for Social Security Studies (CIESS).
The objective is to promote the scientific study of labor problems and the dissemination of the philosophy of Labor Law, stimulate monographic studies, and the preparation of draft codes, laws or labor decrees, maintain exchanges with scientific, university or professional organizations, and attend national and international competitions, conferences or congresses that are related to the purposes of Labor law.
Currently it has about 225 members, lawyers specialized in Labor Law and social security.
