DEADLINE FOR THE REPORTING OF DATABASES TO RNBD<\/h3>\n

Companies that as of December 31, 2022, have registered assets over 100,000 UVT (COP 4,241 million) that collect, store, use, circulate or delete personal data, either directly or through third parties, will have the obligation to report such databases in the National Registry of Databases – RNBD, until March 31, 2023. THE ADMINISTRATIVE SANCTIONING ACTION WILL EXPIRE 3 YEARS AFTER THE COMMISSION OF THE ACT OR OMISSION THAT CONSTITUTES THE CUSTOMS ADMINISTRATIVE INFRACTION.<\/h3>\n

In accordance with the provisions of the Customs Regime in Colombia: \u201cThe power of the customs authority to impose sanctions expires in the term of three (3) years from the commission of the act or omission constituting a customs administrative infraction, term within which the administrative act imposing the sanction must have been issued and notified. It should be noted that only when it is not possible to determine the date of occurrence of the fact or omission constituting an infraction, the date on which the Customs Authority became aware of it shall be taken into account”.<\/em><\/p>\n
