According to the new labor reform bill submitted to Congress, the following is included:<\/p>\n

  1. Increase of the indemnity for unjustified dismissal: Both in fixed term and indefinite term contracts, the minimum number of days to be indemnified would be 45.<\/li>\n
  2. Working day: The working day would be from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and the night working day would be from 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.<\/li>\n
  3. Sunday and holiday surcharge: The surcharge is increased to 100% of the worker’s ordinary salary.<\/li>\n
  4. Imprescriptibility of actions: Actions to claim the right to the payment of social security contributions and benefits are declared imprescriptible.<\/li>\n
  5. The companies of digital technology platforms, delivery or delivery, must affiliate their workers to the Social Security System as dependents..<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    EXTENSION OF THE TERM FOR ICA TAX RETURN AND PAYMENT<\/h3>\n

    The District Secretary of Finance extended the due date for the Industry and Commerce Tax-ICA withholdings tax return and payment, until March 31, so that the withholding agents may declare and pay the tax for the first two months of this year. After this date, penalties for untimeliness will be generated.<\/p>\n

    ICA AND RETEICA TAXPAYERS MUST REESTABLISH THE PASSWORD IN THE PORTAL PROVIDED BY THE SDH<\/h3>\n

    According to the technical contingency of the payment platform ‘SiCapital’ of the District Secretariat of Finance (SDH), presented last March 10, the entity informed that all taxpayers of industry and commerce taxes (ICA) and ReteICA must recover the password of the mentioned platform to make the corresponding returns and payments. To make the change, the taxpayer must enter the virtual office of the SDH and choose the option “Recover password”.<\/p>\n
